UMANO | Sound branding proposal

Our emotional connection to sound informs our identity, guides us through daily tasks, engages us at every turn, influences our behavior, and fills our lives with meaning. That is why a sound brand strategy can empower Umano to create a deeper connection with its listeners, guide in-app experiences, increase engagement, and encourage social shares.

[Problem]  Umano's voiceover talent record from their own studios and it creates a noticeable fluctuation in audio quality from one article to the next. This can be distracting and take away from the content and user experience. 

[Solution]  A light ambient music bed can alleviate sonic inconsistency, so all the recordings sound like they were recorded in the same space and of the same quality. Studies show how a medium amount of ambient music or sound (i.e. coffee shop music & chatter) increase concentration on the task at hand. This solution is an affordable way to create brand consistency and quality control across all articles. Soundnoodle would love the opportunity to co-create this meaningful noise to enrich the Umano experience.
